In 2001 the Government of Tanzania abolished primary school tuition fees. The following years saw major growth in enrolment.

However, with this great achievement challenges still exist. 50:1 teacher student ratios, the high cost of uniforms, books, and supplies for some students, as well as a much lower enrolment rate in secondary school to name a few.

Orphaned, underprivileged, and vulnerable children need as much help as they can get.
